Post nine

Hello, today I am going to talk about architecture. The architecture that I am studying in my faculty in this moment, and what things I could be changes about this.
This career is known for much workload and you study six years,that is not necessary, in other countries like Spain and Kingdom united, the architecture during five years and you go out with a title and magister or something like that, I would change the duration of my study programme.
Other change I would consider is the use of technology, because in the fist year of university, you have to do all the papers to hand, and in the second year you have to know how to use all of programmes like ilustrator, autocad, among others. Maybe in the first year, the professors could teach a bit of that, so you don't get to second lose in this area.
Other point important in this carrer in my university, is the faculty facilities, at least the infrastructure in the fau is poor, we have a lot of problems, for example in the Titanic you can see some of these. The worst thing is that the people in this faculty are architects or they will be architects in a future, is not acceptable those buildings for people who study for solve situations like this.

summer holidays

Hello everyone, now I am going to talk about a summer holidays. In fact, I will not have vacations, because I go out of the university in 27^th January and returns to class in one day of March. But if I suppose that I would have summer vacations, I would like travel to abroad, could be to European cities, China or another place out of Chile.

I don’t have any person abroad who could visit, if I make a trip, I will do it only to know other cultures and to rest of the routine. Maybe I would like to travel with somebody or I could go alone, all depends of the place and the travel purpose. If I want journey for have fun and do much activities I will go with friends or my family, but if I need travel to someplace because I want relax me, probably I would go only me.

The activities that I would do in that vacations, obviously depends of the city I will go.

Maybe I would go to a symbolist restaurants, where I will taste different plates. I could go to museums or art galleries, also I will see the different architecture present in the place.

I prefer the sea food, I had always say it. In the vacation I would try some special preparation of fish or any sea product. Also I would taste any typical dish, for the only reason of trying a dish made in its original city. 

My future job

Hello everyone, today I am going to talk about my future job. I am studying architecture in this moment, and I would like to work in this career. I know that is very difficult because there are many architects, but I really want to design a lot of things, like buildings and innovate the ways to solve certain situations. However, if I don't work as an architect I would like to work as an interior designer.

I have a little problem, is so hard for me imagine how will be my life in the future, then I can't tell you how I imagine it, but I will try it.

I love travel a lot and know other places, cultures and architectures. In my future dreamed I will be traveling around the world, learning about the different histories of each country. I think it is very necesary for open your mind and have various ways of addressing a problem. 

About the salary, I am one of those people who believe that if you work on what you like, you will not have to work a single day of the year. I mean, that I doing what you love to do, naturally you do a good job, so the prestige and money each one gains comes as a result of the love you put into your career. 

The old Wagon

Hello, in this time, I need choose between two topics, and I choosed write about the restaurant.

Today I'm going to talk about the restaurant The old Wagon ubicated in Iquique. I love go to that restaurant with my family, because always I prefer the sea food than meat or chicken. My favorite plate in there is chupe de marisco or a type of fish with vegetables, like scallions, coriander, and sauce of soya. Other good plate that I recommend is crab cake (pastel de jaiba), each one of them are good option to eat in this restaurant.

 It is located in a traditional, old neighborhood as is the morro, in the Thompson street with the avenue Arturo Prat, near of the beach.

This local is very characteristic and oldest of Iquique, in those walls you can see all history and traditions of Iquique, since photos about la salitrera, Humberston, until how the people of the past listened the music. And also you can see bottles put in the walls, a lot of things that reveals the past of our city.

The old wagon is one of the few restaurants in iquique that has translated into a kitchen which is the iquiqueño classic, which has a food based for fish and sea food. It's cooking keeps it's most important tradition of the pampina stage, always seeking to capture the nortina tradition and trying to keep the essence of the old and traditional iquique.

English language challenge

Hello everyone, today I am going to talk about English language, in my personal sight, I don’t like the English, But I don’t know why, If I could I wouldn’t use it at all.

But in the university I have to do English, and I liked the learning ways because is more interactive, also more funny, sometimes you don’t remember that you are studying English, for me is more relaxed in this form.

My personal opinion, my English is not good, because I never use it in the life. I don’t read magazines in English neither I see movies in English or play video games with this language.

I think that I need to improve my speaking and my writing, but is so difficult for me doing something that I don’t like to do. I know that I need to know English, which is an advantage in the all kinds of careers. So in this case, I would improve that with applications like Duolingo, where I could practice English every day. 

Also I could begin to watch movies and series in English, in a first moment with subtitles in Spanish and after without them. And I don’t know, with the songs that I like to hear, learn this lyrics and after translate them to Spanish, to learn more vocabulary of different parts where people speak in English. And if I can in a future, travel to other country for study for a moment, like United Kingdom, or any city in Europe, to have more practice, I would love it.

My special talent

Hello everyone, today I am going to talk about my special talent.

I think my talent is drawing, I am not the best drawing person, but I really like drawing different things. Since I remember I drew in every place where I have gone. When I was a little girl, in each travel that I had, I went with a croquera or a block or inclusive with a notebook.




I travel very much, because my brother went a championships of tennis in all Chile, and we went with him, my mother and me, like a very united family.
And all of people with that always journey to play tennis knew me as the little girl who drawing. Now that I think in that, is was so comical.

When I was in Iquique, I wanted to take a course for learn tecniches or that a professional teach me how draw better, but never find one or was so expensive. For a period of time I tried to convince my parents  but never have good results. Then I continued drawing because I considered very funny.  Now it's very difficult for me to draw, because I don't have much time with the university. But whenever I have a little time, I draw to relax and to be able to improve a little each day.

Postgraduate studies

Hello everyone, today I am going to talk about a postgraduate course that I would consider taking in the future.

Really I don't think very much in that, but I consider interesting take a course of indoors design or do a course of administration.
One reason to do those courses because is complementary with the career of architecture. In one case, indoors design, because how you design a building  or spaces where things happens, also you could design a smaller space, like an apartment.



 In the other case, I believe that whatever career you study. is necesary do a course of administration, at least isn't waste your time if you decided take a administration class.

Subjects that I would like to study if I talk about inside design are colors, urbanism, etc. And if I talk about administration, I would like take economy and anything that I will use to guide my business or contracts.

I am not very certain if I will take a postgraduate study or not, but if I do it in the future, I would like to study abroad, it could be in Spain, France or anyplace in Europe. Because how in Europe everithing is very near, you have a lot of cultures and lenguages so close, then you go to study to Germany, for example, but you can travel for all the countries, and learn a little of each city.
